Before asking a question on the forums, update dd-wrt: Where do I download firmware? I suggest reading it all. Some dd-wrt wiki pages are up to date, others are not. I simply flashed the factory.img then webflash.bin Logon to router 192.168.1.1 and change WAN mode under setup to PPPoE. - *.bin files can only be flashed from dd-wrt webif. - *.chk can be flashed from Netgear factory fw and from dd-wrt webif - I don't provide factory to dd-wrt for non Netgear models since I do not own any non Netgear Broadcom units. Between DD-WRT and Openwrt I had better signal/speed with Openwrt. I could get 90% on the 5GHz for a client forty feet away from the router with Openwrt but with DD-Wrt the signal was only 40%. There are full featured builds of Openwrt for the 3700 available. Look in the Community Releases / Announcements section over at the Openwrt forums.
